I'm attempting to create a "Record Screen" Replay project but running into issues with audio. I want to record the audio from the source (my Storyline output) and not the external microphone built into my laptop. Is this possible? Hey all, I was creating a quick tutorial today and after publishing I noticed my mouse pointer wasn't in the right spot at all when viewing the video. Is this a known issue and is there a fix? https://360.articulate.com/review/content/96f57ac5-a468-43e7-a42d-aca612122831/review1.4KViews0likes63CommentsReplay: Blurring video content?
I've had this problem before, but I can't figure out what is causing it. I need to edit a screencast video (MP4) to match up more closely to a pre-recorded voiceover (MP3). I can import both files just fine and the audio works well, but the problem is with the video file being corrupted. You can see from the attached screenshot that it's nearly impossible to see what the video looks like because of this strange blurring, pixelated effect. I know it's not the actual video because it plays just fine on its own. I've gotten around the problem before because when this happens and I publish video/audio from these types of files, the resulting MP4 is not blurred this way--that is, it plays well in whatever Media Player I'm using just fine. I could do this because I actually didn't need to see what was on the screen in order to publish--the audio and video just needed to be added together and I didn't have to edit either. However, I cannot edit this project because I can't tell what's on the screen, making me unable to match up the on-screen actions with the correct voiceover timing. I also have to cut out extraneous actions in the screencast. Has this happened to anyone? I can't figure it out... I attached the file here. The last time it happened and I reached out to Articulate, they said they weren't getting any corruption/they couldn't see what I was talking about, but that doesn't help me. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Replay, but nothing...1.1KViews0likes1CommentPixelated Video in Replay
When I open a video in replay, the image is distorted and pixelated. Thankfully when I published the video as an MP4, it's fine. But I can't see anything when looking in Replay. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Replay and that seems to have worked in the short term (about 2 weeks ago). But opening Replay today is showing the same issue. I don't want to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling Replay. I have attached an image for reference.799Views0likes36CommentsReplay not tracking cursor properly?
Has anyone else had this problem? Basically, I'll be taking a screen recording in Replay and selecting different tabs/options in this video. However, when I view the screen recording in Replay. my cursor in the video is much higher than it should be. For context, if this was an Excel spreadsheet, my cursor in the video would be 3-4 rows higher than the row that is selected. So I end up with something selected and a cursor that doesn't match the position of the selected item. I want this to be professional and straightforward for the learner, so how do I fix this? Thanks.799Views0likes57CommentsHow to export audio from the recorded video using Replay?
I have done a screen recording using articulate replay. After publishing the video doesn't look very good but the audio is good. Now I want to export my audio and keep and delete the video. So that I can use that audio if I need it. Please help me doing this.699Views0likes18Comments
