Interactive Videos in Rise 360
Hey all! I am working on an interactive video using the new AI creation component. I am trying to get it so my learner HAS to watch the entire video and cannot seek forward. However, I can't find settings for this. Am I overlooking it? Even when I make a block need interactivity to be complete to move forward, it still lets me skip right over it all. This is also worrisome because some of them are questions that need to be answered before moving forward. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a solution? I created a simple ZIP code block file and tried to upload it as code block to empty Rise lesson. Approximately 1 out of 10 times it uploads without a problem, but 9 out of 10 times the same identical file stucks on uploading (upload never finishes, although it is a simple file with only 2,5MB). Does anyone knows what's the catch and what's the workaround for this? The code block is in the attachment.Recent SCORM issues with Canvas
Wanted to check in to see if anyone else has had this issue. We use two different LMS systems: Canvas as one and Absorb as the other. I have had no recent issues with Absorb but I have recently run into an issue hitting an error when trying to upload those very same SCORMs into Canvas. Again they work in Absorb but are not accepted in Canvas. Is there something about the most recent SCORMs with the new AI additions that is not being received properly by Canvas? Hi, I can see that there is now an option to publish multiple languages in one SCORM package. This is amazing! However, there is one issue: once you select a language, you cannot change it. Is there a way to refresh or restart the training so that the user can select a different language? Many thanks in advance! :)Articulate Rise - change navigation arrows?
Hello All, I have some older/less technologically adept staff in our organization who get confused by the navigation UI in Articulate Rise. For example, when you start a microlearning module, you navigate from the first page by pressing/clicking the down arrow on the screen. However, some of my staff took that to be a visual indicator arrow, and were looking for/pressing any buttons below the actual area of the Rise learning window. I take this as an accessibility challenge that I can help accommodate to, rather than a user error. My ideal solution would be to be able to replace the arrow entirely (ex with a different button or shape), make it more of a visible button via emphasis lines, high-contrast background circle, or even customized text next to the arrow ("press the arrow to continue"). My intermediate solution is going to be to create modified backgrounds with embedded instructions, written instructions in the course page itself (less ideal given I'd be essentially replacing the title page to do so), or some kind of "how to navigate e-learnings" pdf as a precursor resource to any course. A way to modify and customize the slide-to-slide navigation would be best, though I'd love to hear how others have addressed this issue. Thanks!Inferences made in US
Hi there, I see this in the terms "If you’re using the EU data center, your AI Assistant requests may be performed in the US or EU, depending on the nature of the request." We are based in Europe and for our AI and Security teams, no inferences should be made in US. Is there a way to switch off these? Thanks BAudio and Video not playing at the same time
I created a custom block that has a video and audio with text. The video and audio can be played at the same time in the EDIT mode, but when in Preview, they do not play together with out stopping one or the other. Works great in Edit mode, but not in the lesson. What gives? A bug maybe?
