Pre-assessment trackable by LMS in a branched course?
Hi everyone. Here's our plan: We want to create a chain of short microlearning courses that each cover one specific topic of our company strategy. Learners, however, only have to take a course if they don't pass a pre-assessment for a specific topic. Let me visualize the idea for you here: Every time a learner fails the entry test, they get taken to the respective learning. Should they pass it, however, they can move on to questions about the next topic. Our Learning Management System is SAP SUCCESS MAP LEARNING. We need Storyline 360 to report all pre-assessment results back to our Learning Management System so that we can ensure we track those who pass entry tests as well as those who end up having to take the microlearnings. Does anyone have experience with this? Is what we're trying to do even possible? Any help is much appreciated!Help Needed: Issues with course completion tracking after translating courses
Hello, We've started translating our courses from English to 5 other languages using an AI translation tool (using the XLIFF file). We use Learndash as LMS and export the courses in xAPI format using course completion. We've always done it this way with the +25 courses in English we have. The issue is that now that we have courses in other languages it seems that the tracking doesn't work. Users that take courses in French or Spanish don't see the course completed and can't access the certificate. I'm not a tech expert and can't pin point where the issue is exactly but I've been doing the same, following the same steps, for all the translated courses as I did for the English courses and I'm losing my mind. Anyone can help? What is the issue? Is there a bug in Rise with the translated courses? I'd be happy to provide more information and screenshots if needed.Progress Tracking
I am exporting a course built in Articulate Storyline with 3 "scenes" or modules. Ideally, we would like the progress bar in our LMS to show the exact point where the learner is, even if they close out of the course part way through a module. As of now, I am able to get one of the three scenes to track the progress as complete/incomplete with only either 0% for incomplete and 33% for complete, as well as the check mark and unlocking the second module for the learner to continue. However, with the exact same export settings adjusted for increased slide #s, the second and third exported scenes uploaded into our LMS aren't registering as complete/incomplete, % change on progress bar, or check mark to show completion. Here are screenshots of the export settings that I am using for the first module (the one that is working/tracking progress) and the only difference with the other two is I've changed the tracking "slides viewed" number to indicate the number of slides in those scenes (36 of 73 for scene 1, and then 62 of 73, and 73 of 73 for the two unsuccessful scene exports). Our LMS is through Adobe. Underneath those two screengrabs, I've included one of the LMS, showing how the first module gets a check mark upon completion, but after completing the second module there is no check mark or increase of progress bar.
