Take a look at the attached file. I'm baffled. This worked when it was built. Today I updated two of the icons that are to be dropped, but now none of the 4 icons to be dropped display when previewed.
don't ask me why - but I right clicked the slide > Format Background > Checked the 'Hide Background Graphics' option and it works - here is a Peek video and attached is the updated file.
I wanted to let you know that there seems to be a problem in Storyline 360 on interactive slides where objects are incorrectly covered by background images or graphics when the answers are set to Shuffle.
I'm really sorry for the frustration this bug is causing you! I've got it reported to our team so we can begin looking at next steps. As soon as we have a fix in place, I'll let you know!
Hi - had the same issue today, thought it was me was because I re-ordered my slides into different scenes, can you let me know when this is fixed please?
So you can't have background graphics? This only happens in Chrome for me. And why did this happen recently? The update to be more HTML5 seems to have broken this. I need to rebuild all of my Drag and Drop interactions?
I hate that you ran into this, too! We're working on a fix as we speak. Until then, you can work around this by setting the Shuffle option to "None." You're also welcome to reach out to our Support Engineers here to request a rollback to a previous update of Storyline 360.
I apologize that this bug is impacting your projects. We'll let you know as soon as we've made it right!

The fix was to hide the background. Take a look at the fix in this video. https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/drag-and-drop-problem-686f3764-53a9-4181-81b3-42389344c1bb
