Issue with displaying variables.

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with displaying numeric variables. When I output a variable in a text field or rectangle, it destroys the formatting of the text field or rectangle.
The example above works with a numeric variable. The example below does not use a variable, but the direct number (0). The example below shows the desired representation.
The story file is also in the attachment.
Is this a bug? I'm using the latest version of SL360.
Thanks.
Stefan

Hi there, Stefan. Thanks for sharing what you're experiencing!
While I see what you're describing, I'm having a little trouble recreating the issue in a new slide. I'll need your help: could you create a Peek screen recording of the steps you took that yields the top example? I'll consult with our team on the behavior, and keep you in the loop!
Here's a quick Peek of what I'm seeing in Storyline 360 with one option of achieving the desired format. The modified .story file is attached; let me know if that can work!
Hi Katie,
thanks for your reply. Here's a quick Peek what I do to face the issue. As you can see, the capitalization of "TEST-ABC" doesn't work in the example above as well as the position of the text is different compared to the example below.
Hi Matthew,
thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I’m already working with the modern text. :/
I’m using the latest version of Storyline.

Hey, Stefan. Appreciate the Peek for a Peek!
I followed your process, and I'm able to recreate the issue in a new file. Yikes, I'm very sorry for any headaches. I'm going to get this in front of our team so we can verify if this is a bug or not.
Thanks so much for bringing this up to us, and I'll keep you up-to-date on any new information!
Dear Katie,
do you have any new information regarding this topic?
And do you have any comment on this topic?
Thanks!
Hi Stefan,
The issue where the text moves down when there is a variable reference in the shape during preview/after publishing and the formatting is lost is still open with our team. I'd suggest using a separate text box and shape item, and grouping them together in the meantime. We'll let you know here as soon as we have an update to share, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
I'll take a look at the other discussion and respond there too!
Hi Stefan,
Good news! We fixed the issue you reported where there were issues with how the text moves down if there is a variable reference in the shape.
Install the latest Storyline 360 update to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes. Here's how.
If the problem happens again, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I'll be happy to help!
HI Ashley,
thanks for the good news. Unfortunately, I do not get any update for my S360. My version is V3.26.18601.0. Even if I manually search for an update, none is shown to me.
What can I do?
Best Regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan. That means you're on the latest update, and the fix should be included there. I'm sorry it took a bit longer to let you know that the fix was included!
If you're still seeing the issue with formatting, let us know!
