On each slide you can set the variables and present them on the masterslide. In SL2 you can use a slider on the master slide as a progress bar.

I do not know a way how to automatically determine the number of slides in a project or a scene. So I uses variables for this.
On each slide you can set the variables and present them on the masterslide. In SL2 you can use a slider on the master slide as a progress bar.
