One of my favorite things about Articulate 360 is that in addition to all the amazing apps, you also get access to Articulate 360 Training, which features a comprehensive library of resources to help you grow your skills as a course developer.

Articulate 360 Training contains tons of tutorials and on-demand training that makes it easy to learn when it’s convenient for you. You can also sign up for upcoming live webinars with e-learning experts like Tom Kuhlmann, David Anderson, and Ginger Swart. You’ll find training on topics from getting started with Articulate 360 to how to make your courses more interactive to using 360° images in Storyline 360—and much more.

So how can you get the most out of Articulate 360 Training? Try these tips!

1. Filter & Sort Content

To make it super fast and easy to find what you’re looking for, you can filter the content by app or skill level. That way you can pinpoint the app you want to learn about and find training that’s tailored to your level of experience, whether you’re an e-learning newbie or a course-creating whiz.

Want to attend live training? We know everyone has different and busy schedules, so that’s why we offer live webinars at different times throughout the day. Upcoming live webinars can be filtered by start times to help you find what works with your schedule.

And if you find a live webinar you’re interested in, but the timeframe doesn’t work—no worries! Just sign up for it anyway to receive a notification when the recording is available.

And if you’re browsing our on-demand training, try sorting by recency to learn about the latest features, by popularity to see what others have found the most helpful, or by title to see sessions listed alphabetically.

No matter how you filter or sort the content, you’re sure to find something that will help you elevate your existing skills or build entirely new ones.

2. Search by Keyword

Know exactly what topic you want to know more about? Search by keyword to focus your list on just what you’re interested in.

You might even uncover some surprises you wouldn’t have discovered based on titles alone. For example, if you want to learn about interactions, only scan through titles, and don’t perform a keyword search, you might miss out on the “Quick Tips & Tricks Episode 09” training that covers ways to add custom interactivity to courses.

3. Refine by Category

Looking to explore the possibilities of what you can learn? Try browsing on-demand training or live webinars by category. You can view training that’s grouped by Getting Started, Essentials, Quick Tips, or How-To’s.

Let’s take a closer look at each of those categories to see what kinds of training content they include.

  • Getting Started: Overview training to help you get to know the different apps in Articulate 360.
  • Essentials: These sessions cover a broad range of topics for beginners or for seasoned e-learning pros who want a quick refresher. This can include training on topics like Accessibility, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Typography, and more.
  • Quick Tips: If you’re looking for training to help you expand your skills or you want to dig deeper into more advanced subjects, this is the category for you. In these monthly live sessions, you’ll find the best practices and guidance you’re looking for, all based on questions we’ve seen from E-Learning Heroes community members.
  • How-To’s: Have you ever wondered how to make some of the amazing examples we feature here on E-Learning Heroes? How-To’s give you a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into building these courses. For example, learn how to Create a Dice Roll Game or see what goes into Creating GIF-like Animations.

4. Watch Brief Tutorials

Speaking of breaking down content, don’t overlook the Tutorials section of Articulate 360 Training! These short videos will help you get up to speed on Storyline 360 and Rise 360. You’ll find tutorials on topics like course translation, working with blocks in Rise 360, and creating software simulations in Storyline 360.

The tutorials are an average of five minutes each, so it’s easy to find time to grow your skills, even with a busy schedule.

5. Find What You Need with Timestamps

On-demand training is broken down into sections that make it easy to see what’s covered and include timestamps so you can know exactly when each topic is discussed. With timestamps, you can skip directly to the part of a video that’s most helpful to you.

Timestamps also make it easy to jump back to a particular training moment that you’d like to revisit without having to rewatch the entire video.

6. Check Out On-Demand Training Resources

Not only is on-demand training a great way to learn at your own pace and on your own time, but it also includes many helpful resources. When you click into an on-demand training session, you’ll find additional resources, downloads for activities and templates, and related training recommendations.

Even if you don’t have time to watch the entire training, you can check out what’s included in the resources section. This section directs you to articles that you can bookmark and refer to later.

7. Ask Questions During a Live Webinar

How often do you get the opportunity to ask an e-learning expert a question? Since Articulate 360 live webinars are delivered by industry pros, you can do just that! Live webinars allow you to actively participate in the training and ask questions in the chat. These webinars cover tips and tricks for working with the apps and resources in Articulate 360.
