This looks great, and thanks for doing all the work to get it started! I've downloaded the template and the associated fonts, so now I'm just thinking about content. But before I spend any more time on it, i need to be aware of accessibility concerns. Since I'm at a public institution, I'm not permitted to use any materials that aren't totally accessible. Can this be used with screen readers? What accessibility issues do I need to be aware of? How can I make changes to address them?

In terms of converting this game into something that is completely accessible, I probably wouldn' recommend that because when you're designing content that needs to be fully accessible -- it's something you need to plan for and consider early on in the storyboarding phase. You need to take into considerations the points that are outlined in the article listed above. Hopefully those resources will help you out :)
