Including timed activities in your e-learning can be a great way to test whether learners can think and act fast. But you should probably only use them when the real-world task also involves time constraints, because it can be difficult for some learners who may need more time.

This interactive 360-degree scenario is a perfect example of how using a timer can enhance the learning experience because it mimics a real-life situation where timing counts. In it, learners get to explore a virtual space to find specific items to pack in their suitcase. If they take too long, they’ll miss their flight. Talk about pressure!

If you want to create this type of interaction in Storyline 360, you can! Check out this example to see how adding clickable objects and hotspots to your 360° images can make for a truly immersive learning experience.

Loved it... I had fun and even got angry because couldn't find the sun cream... brilliant.
just would like to know if you took the 360 photos yourself or found them online somewhere.
I'm having a hard time taking 360 photos to try to do something like this.
    Again... great job

        Hello Kate,
I would love to know how you create the timer and the checklist. If you can just give me a few steps to get me started, I would appreciate it!

Hi Kate, fanstastic, a super creative approach. An 'escape room' that is engaging and fun - I really enjoyed it. I am not a fan of 'escape rooms' but this opened my eyes to new possibilities, and new possibilities for using the 360 degree funtion. I love the sparks of humor, and the addition of a timer is perfect for this situation.
  • Hi Kate, this is so good!! How did you make the triggers for audio to play when the TV hotspot is selected?

Hi Kate! What a great experience! I would appreciate a lot if you could please share how you've build a timer. In the previous comments you shared a link on your post but it's no longer available.
