Airport Security Screening #531: Challenge | Recap

šŸ† Challenge of the Week

This week, your challenge is to build an example that helps airline travelers navigate airport security quickly and with zero drama.

You can build your training from the traveler’s point of view or from the people running the scanners. Either way, give learners a simple, practical ā€œdo this, then thatā€ path through one of life’s more confusing, hurry-up-and-wait moments.

Have some fun with the pain points everyone knows too well: the long lines, the liquids shuffle, the surprise bag checks, the signs that make no sense, and the classic realization that you wore the shoes with metal in them. Then turn those annoyances into clear, helpful teaching moments.

šŸš€ Tips for Getting Started

Here’s how you can approach this week’s challenge depending on how much time you have:

  • Start simple: Create a short, friendly guide that explains what belongs in a carry-on and what should go in checked luggage.
  • Level up: Add a branching scenario that lets travelers make choices at the checkpoint and see the results.
  • Challenge mode: Build a multi-country comparison module that changes the rules based on the traveler’s destination, airline, or security agency.

āš’ļø Authoring Tools

You’re welcome to use any authoring tool you’d like this week. If you’re short on time, try quickly mocking up your ideas using PowerPoint, Figma, or your favorite graphics app.
