Accessibility issues

NVDA is reading my Storyline 360 training one word at a time when using the arrows keys.

Attached is a video of the issues and the Storyline file. Below are my test results.

Review 360 file:

Mandatory Subjects Process - Delete | Review 360

My current versions:

  • Storyline 360 - December 17, 2025 3.107.35974.0
  • NVDA - 2025.3.1 (2025.3.1.63219)
  • Edge - 143.0.3650.80

Edge Results:

  • No issue using a mouse to open buttons.
  • No issue using keyboard only to open buttons.
  • With NVDA turned on and using keyboard only, when using the arrow keys to navigate the focus order, buttons read one word at a time. For example, on the orange puzzle piece button says, "could button, a button, in button, your button, program button...
  • With NVDA turned on and using keyboard only, when using the arrow keys to navigate the focus order, when I select the "Enter" button on the blue puzzle button "Am I required to notify Labor Relations..." NVDA automatically jumps to the next button and opens it instead.

Chrome Results:

  • Example functions as it should with no issues.

  • Hi annykaymelendez

Thanks for confirming that the issue only occurs with NVDA and Microsoft Edge.

NVDA generally works most consistently with Chrome and Firefox. While NVDA can be used with Edge, some known inconsistencies exist.

I’m not able to reproduce the same behavior using NVDA with Edge on my end. In some cases, this type of word-by-word reading can happen when NVDA remains in browse mode on interactive elements in Edge.

As a next step, I'd recommend testing the issue using the latest version of NVDA.
