Hi everyone! I'm so excited to get to know each of you over the next few weeks! π I'm Alyssa, the Training Program Manager at Articulate. I've been so fortunate to be a part of the Articulate team for the past 10 years, and I love teaching our customers new and creative ways to use our tools.
I'm located in Bellingham, WA π² but I'm a native Texan at heart. I share my home office with two cuties, Basil (airedale terrier) and Remi (wirehaired pointer). I'd love to see photos of your pets, as well!
I'm excited to dive in to the AI Assistant with you next week!
Remi (left) and Basil (right)- Emily02Community Member
Hey Alyssa- I'm nearby in Tacoma and I grew up with Airedales. They're pretty uncommon on the West Coast!
I work for the Power Company and design training on everything from bloodborne pathogens to high voltage substation entry training to orientation at our fish hatchery.
With the AI Cohort I'm hoping to improve the cohesiveness of my trainings. I really like the ability to find a photo in the stock library and then be able to alter it to have a sequence of photos with a related topic. I'm hoping for more gems like that.
I don't have any photos of my dog on my computer, so here are some fish at the hatchery.

This is going to sound silly and obscure, but back in the 90's when Nickelodeon had a print magazine, I remember their mascot was an Airedale and I always think about that dog whenever someone mentions them.
It's fond memories because they would do quirky things like trying to find her in each issue or she was dressed up in a cool outfit related to the theme.
I think you will find a lot of value in the AI image prompting part of the training. It will help you get shape the images you want in the style that you want. I found that once I find a image prompt style I like, I saved it elsewhere to use for future projects.

Hi everyone! π My name is Marisol, and I'm based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I work as an Instructional Designer, currently leading e-learning design and pedagogical advising at a university, where my day-to-day involves building courses for distance and coaching facilitators on instructional best practices.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to move from an academic L&D setting into corporate L&D, and generative AI is the layer I want to master to make that jump credible β not as a side skill, but as something I can build entire training solutions around.
Bonus: I don't have a pet of my own, but I'm the reliable aunt/dog-sitter every time my sister goes on vacation, so please meet my temporary roommate Jana! πΎ

Hi Marisol!
I think you'll find what you're looking for in this training. There are a lot of great tips on creating successful prompts for your course design and then customizing it from there.
Having this certification under your belt should be a great selling point for when you make that leap. The AI Assistant will help if you shift into a faster-pace environment. It can do the heavy lifting by creating the foundation (reduces hours to minutes), but then you go in afterward to clean it up so it still has that human element.

Hi All, I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning about using AI with Articulate. My name is Lisa and I'm a Lead Consultant for a company based in Washington State. I provide instructional design services and work remotely from my home office in Virginia.
- JeanMarrapodi-cPeer Guide
Hi Lisa, and welcome to class. Isn't working remotely the best thing ever? Like you, I have a time zone difference, so I work from 10-6, which is excellent for this non-morning person.
- LarissaNCommunity Member
Hey Lisa! Where are you in Virginia? I'm in Chantilly and also work from home! :)
- mpearlswigCommunity Member
Hey Larissa and Lisa! I am also in Virginia working from home. My company's headquarters in in Chantilly. I am down near Richmond.

Good afternoon!
My name is Lynne, and I am just north of you, Alyssa, near Langley BC, Canada.
I work as a Sr. Instructional Design and Training Specialist and looking forward to bolstering my knowledge and skills in Articulate.
- JeanMarrapodi-cPeer Guide
Welcome Lynne! So glad to have you joining us. Is it as rainy in BC as it is in the northwestern US?
- BrynnPendrakCommunity Member
Hello! I'm Brynn Pendrak, Director of Instructional Design, and I'm just outside of Chicago, IL. I'm looking forward to better understanding the AI capabilities within Articulate, as our organization leans more deeply into AI adoptions across our tech stack. My aussiedoodle, Tank, says hello.
- JeanMarrapodi-cPeer Guide
Welcome, Brynn. Tank makes me smile. I'll bet he does that to you too. Enjoy the journey here.

Hello
My name is Nicole and I am in Oregon. I am a Professional Development Consultantfor Kaiser Westside Medical Center in charge of continuing and onboarding Education for the Emergency Department
- JeanMarrapodi-cPeer Guide
Hi Nicole. So glad to see your kitties. It seems we have a LOT of dogs here this round. Your tuxedo cat has markings similar to my Pippin with the extra dot below the nose. Your kitties seem to be friends. That gives me hope that Pippin and Rosalina will get to this stage. I spend much of my day refereeing when Pippin tackles Rosalina. Welcome to class!

I have a Siamese named Jack. For Halloween purposes! Love to see the purrring pets! Welcome to the group.

Hi Everyone! I'm Erianne, located in Pleasant Prairie, WI, working at Uline. I'm the Quotes Training Specialist, and part of my job includes designing training for our Quote Reps on products, sales skills, and procedures.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort to improve my current skills in Rise and to start a foundation for Storyline (still a newbie for Storyline). I'm looking to level up my training and increase my knowledge of the two programs.
And say hello to Luci, my staffy mix. She heard the popcorn maker and came running, blankie and all, to beg. Don't worry, I shared some with her! πΏ- LeslieClifton-9Community Member
My doggie likes popcorn too!

Hi! My name is Jo, I am located in Northwest Indiana, and I have worked for Franciscan Alliance for 23 years. I am the lead educator of our IS Business Apps Training Team. One of my main tasks is to create CBTs for ServiceNow for our end users. I love using Articulate for this, and AI has really saved me time!
I joined the AI cohort because our company recently decided to add on the AI features to our Articulate license. I'm hoping to become better with using the available AI tools :)
Our family has two dogs and a cat that we adopted :)
jceko77β Hey Jo, welcome to the cohort! Have to make a note of appreciation for the matching PJ's, that's my favorite part of cooler weather. As you go through the cohort I'd love to hear what aspects seem to speed up your processes the most!

- rossgoyetteCommunity Member
Hi everyone! I'm Rosemarie Goyette, an Instructional Designer at a managed care organization here in North Carolina. I am a middle school educator who recently transitioned to Instructional Design so I look forward to learning more ways to make training development easier and faster, without sacrificing the content and human elements of training. I look forward to learning with you all!
PS: I have a 16 year old Yorkie who passed last June 2026 so imagine she's looking at you from above.
- dsdcruzePeer Guide
Awww, she's beautiful. I think she's playing with my Byron who passed in March. He was 18, although he was a cat. But everyone was a friend because he couldn't see really well from kitten-hood.
Furbabies leave such big paw prints on our hearts.

An all-white Yorkie - so unique! I had a Yorkie as a teen.
