Hi everyone! I'm so excited to get to know each of you over the next few weeks! š I'm Alyssa, the Training Program Manager at Articulate. I've been so fortunate to be a part of the Articulate team for the past 10 years, and I love teaching our customers new and creative ways to use our tools.
I'm located in Bellingham, WA š² but I'm a native Texan at heart. I share my home office with two cuties, Basil (airedale terrier) and Remi (wirehaired pointer). I'd love to see photos of your pets, as well!
I'm excited to dive in to the AI Assistant with you soon!

Hi, Iām Jason R Sutton, a Training Delivery Educator IV at Kaiser Permanente, based in Honolulu. I specialize in Epic HealthConnect training, instructional design, and upgrade readiness, with a focus on building clear, scalable learning solutions that support clinical teams and enterprise initiatives.
I joined the Articulate AI Assistant Cohort to build handsāon, responsible AI skills in instructional design.
- NadiaPetersCommunity Member
Hi Jason! I'm also at KP! I'm program office, but my home base is in Virginia :)
- NadiaPetersCommunity Member
Great to meet you Alyssa! My sister-in-law used to live in Bellingham! š
That's so cool, NadiaPetersā! Did you ever visit? It's a great city for anyone who loves the outdoors!

Hello, my name is Tracy Parker, and I am a Project Manager IV in Sales and Account Management at Kaiser Permanente, California Region. I have been in this role for four years, but prior to that, I worked as a Design & Delivery Consultant (instructional designer) for Kaiser. Although I stepped into a PM role, my passion has always been learning and development. Prior to my current role, I have worked as an instructor, technical writer, and instructional designer for more than two decades.
In reading through some of my cohort members' descriptions of their work, I get jealous because I long to be doing instructional design work again full-time. :( Anyhow, I do get to do some design work in my PM role, which makes me very happy. Since knowing how to use AI tools is increasingly important in the field of Learning & Development, I wanted to use this opportunity to sharpen my eLearning design skills so that when I return to the field full-time, I won't be behind my peers.
I look forward to learning alongside the rest of the group and seeing and hearing how everyone will use this new tool in their work.
No doggie picture. Sorry. :(

Hi Tracy, welcome to the cohort! It sounds like you have a great plan, to build your design skills so that you'll be ready when the next opportunity strikes. I hope you learn a lot over the next couple of weeks to help you on your journey! š

Hi, Alyssa and the rest of the cohort! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm currently working as a contract learning experience designer and developer - one of my favorite ways to experience lots of different people and projects. I love telling people I've worked in eLearning since the late 1900's - and it's true! We used to send it out on CDs for employees to complete at a dedicated workstation.š¤It's been great to see the evolution the industry has made in that time and the amazing tools we now have available to us.
I live just south of Denver, CO ā°ļø and love the sun, the seasons, and the wide variety of outdoor activities here. No pets unless I include my husband, who works in his home office just across the way from my home office. I'm a big fan of board games when I'm home, and live theater and comedy when I go out.

I live in Castle ROCK! Colorado Natives in a town of Migrants. I'll also be participating in the program. GO Avs!!!
- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
I'm unfortunately one of those "got here as soon as I could" Coloradans, after growing up in Minnesota and living and working on the East Coast and back in the Midwest again. There's something about finding "the right spot" that feels right, and I'm glad it's here. GO Summit! (So excited to have professional women's soccer in the state!)
- KristineLMaraneCommunity Member
Elizabeth, my first eLearning course was written for delivery via mainframe, so I'm right there with you! AI is just another tool to add to our toolbox of skills; we've seen so many changes over our careers and continue to adapt to new ways of doing things!
- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
Absolutely agree - that's why I think of it as an evolution rather than just a big change. Delivery via mainframe - just text?
- MelAngiuloPeer Guide
Hi Elizabeth, welcome to the cohort! It's so incredible how many years of experience you have, and that you're staying relevant with the latest tools and innovations! I look forward to seeing your insights in the next couple week on how AI compares to "the way it was".

Hey everyone! I'm Nadia - I'm an instructional designer at Kaiser Permanente (official title: Design & Documentation Consultant). I'm located in Virginia but work with multiple states. Within my role, I design and develop trainings + resources for our call center teams.
I joined the cohort to get a better handle on AI since I use Articulate primarily within my work. I'm excited to learn all the tips and tricks!
Meet Murray (pup) and Milo (cat) in a rare picture of them together! Milo mostly just tolerates Murray, but they're both great!
- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
Wow, beautiful pup and cat! I love their names, too. I've always been a fan of people names for pets, but they don't have to be common ones.
- KimberlyComstocCommunity Member
Hi, Nadia! I, too, work for KP as a Design & Documentation Consultant IV, Technical Training. I used to work in the NW for 10 years supporting KPHC training, but now I work at the National level supporting several member facing teams. I you'd like to connect, especially when it comes to AI and Articulate, feel free to reach out :)
- NadiaPetersCommunity Member
Hi Kimberly! Oh, that's so wonderful! I'm sure I've come across some of your work then for KPHC. I'd love to connect on teams sometime š
- IzetteDuToit-7cCommunity Member
Hi Nadia - Murray is beautiful! Looks like my Freya :-)

Hi everyone, my name is Nathan and I work at Southern California Edison as Learning Tech Advisor, managing our company's Articulate account. I'm also an avid Articulate user and am excited to learn how the AI Assistant can enhance our learning solutions. I live in beautiful Monrovia, CA but wish we experience some sort of seasonal weather besides HOT, kinda hot, and heavy rain for 1-2 weeks...
Looking forward to learning from and connecting with you all.
- TaylorSakinsky-Peer Guide
Welcome, Nathan! Come visit the Chicagoland area where you can experience all four seasons in one day - LOL. Springtime is especially dramatic, you never know what to expect.
Welcome aboard and I look forward to seeing what your biggest takeaways are š

Afternoon! My name is Jason. I work for an environmental engineering firm in Long Beach, CA, and am the L&D Manager. I'm also the only course developer on a team of two. I'm excited to learn how to use the AI Assistant now that it is part of our subscription. Any help I can get to enhance or speed up my development time is welcome.

Hi Alyssa, My name is Karen and I'm based in Australia and work for an Electricity Entity as an instructional designer. My projects are primarily designing training for electrical trade skills, health and safety and corporate compliance activities. I joined the Articulate AI Assistant cohort to learn how to use AI to create engaging content and write effective prompts to achieve what I need.
Meet my favourite co-worker, Baylee!- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
Baylee looks to be the best kind of co-worker.
- PamelaKiefer-dbCommunity Member
I love me a happy little Doxie! I have such fond memories of my Dachshunds. Nice to virtually meet you Karen and Baylee.
- TracyCindric-09Community Member
Doxies are the best! I had red, short hair doxies as a kid.
My father-in-law recently got a Beagle/Doxie mix and his learning curve dealing with the Doxie Attitude amused me, probably a bit too much. :)

Hi, I'm Carolyn! I'm currently an instructional designer for customer service training at Uline. My team & I create & maintain digital & in-classroom training programs for about 1,000 Customer Service Reps across North America (we have locations in the US, Canada & Mexico). I joined the cohort to sharpen my skills & become more familiar with all the cool new AI features!
I live & work in southeast WI & this is my rescue mutt Kingston!

Hi Carolyn, welcome to the cohort! Kingston is such a majestic pupper! I can see some floofiness and coloring similar to my own rescue mutt, Arya.š

I'm originally from Wisconsin. I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could -- it's beautiful country!

Hello! This is my first Articulate Online program, though Iāve been ATDācertified in Articulate for more years than I care to admit. Iām loving how AI is making our jobs as learning developers so much easier by creating case studies, personas, and explaining content to us. I am excited to explore how it can support my dayātoāday workābuilding learning for the Tax and Advisory service lines globally at Grant Thornton International.
This is Assistant Jack, he is my administrative assistant and workālife balance coach (sleeping on the job, most of the time).
- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
Assistant Jack is doing a great job.

Jack is beautiful <3

Hi everyone! I'm Kathy, joining from the Denver metro area. I work in Learning & Development at Blue Origin where I focus on content and curriculum design, training delivery, and program management. Day-to-day that means I'm building leadership development programs, designing eLearning, and figuring out how to get the right learning to the right people at the right time.
I joined this cohort because AI is where it's at right now. In L&D especially, the pace of work demands that we move fast, simplify, and automate wherever we can. I'm here for practical skills I can apply immediately, specifically around using AI with Articulate to move quicker, reduce errors, and improve the quality of what I'm putting out.
Looking forward to learning with everyone!

Hi Kathy, welcome to the cohort! I agree, AI is the future and you should learn some great tips and tricks for automating and simplifying your processes within the coming weeks.š

Hello Kathy! Hope you are doing well!

Hi everyone, Iām excited to learn alongside you in this course. Iām based in Australia and come from an education background, so Iām still relatively new to instructional design. I currently work for an airline company developing online training resources for staff. Over the past two years, Iāve built my skills in Articulate Storyline, though I feel thereās still so much more to explore across both Storyline and Rise. Iām taking this AI Assistant course to better understand how I can use AI to enhance course design and development. Looking forward to sharing ideas and learning with you all over the next two weeks.
This is our dog Lulu, whom we adopted two weeks ago. Weāve been pleasantly surprised by how quickly sheās settled into her new home and become part of the family.
- ElizabethBauer-Community Member
Lulu! I had an acting coach many years ago saying you want to have strong vowel sounds in the name of a big dog, so they hear you when you call them.
- CydWalker_mwhCommunity Member
What a face Lulu!
