Two questions about Accessibility and Accessibility Text

Nov 29, 2021

I have many older trainings which were created in Articulate Studio 13 using Articulate Presenter plug-in, and they must be updated for accessibility. Question 1 - If a PPT template was built using accessible template slides from Microsoft, does it maintain alt text & screen order info after republishing in Articulate Presenter?
Question 2- Is the recent Accessibility Text feature applicable to caption text on an embedded video? We have some users who want to adjust caption font attributes.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Karen,

Happy to offer some guidance here!

Does Presenter 360 support alternate text descriptions in PowerPoint?

It does! Although Presenter only supports the description fields, not the title field. Our user guide covers this in more detail:

How can I adjust closed caption font attributes for embedded videos? Since you mention the new Accessible Text feature, I'm assuming you're referring to Storyline 360. While not applicable to caption text, you can adjust the caption font and size separately from the rest of the course in the Modern Player only. Let us know if you have any additional questions, and I hope these resources help!
