Accessible Text (HTML Text issue) Storyline 3 - latest edition

Jul 13, 2021

Hi - I'm trying to create a course (for a major client) that has some semblance of accessibility for screen readers... I read an articulate article which described how to toggle HTML text on. I have done this.... but now pretty much every single text box in my course has a scrollbar attached to it... even text boxes with only one letter/number in them. Is there a way to fix this, without having to go through 64 screens and manually reduce the 'padding' or increase the box sizing on every single one, in a trial and error way? (because I don't seem to be able to use the Developer Toolbar to determine what's happening in the HTML text box styling...

Thank you

D

Hello Mr. Brown,

I appreciate you reaching out and sharing what you're experiencing.

The solution here would be to increase the height of the text box to account for differences in spacing across browsers. I’m sorry I can’t offer a quick fix for this, but I’d like to share a bit more insight into this behavior.

Different browsers treat HTML text differently, so there may be variations in line and character spacing across browsers.
