I am unsure how to update the timestamp.

After exporting your closed captions, you'll have a VTT file.

You can open this in a code editor or a simple text editor like Notepad.

The contents will look something like this:

WEBVTT

00:00:00.500 --> 00:00:02.000
Here is a caption

00:00:02.500 --> 00:00:04.300
and here is another caption
 

You can then update the timestamps by adding 35 seconds, for example:

WEBVTT

00:00:35.500 --> 00:00:37.000
Here is a caption

00:00:37.500 --> 00:00:39.300
and here is another caption

After updating, save this file, and then import it back into Storyline.
