I'm trying to create a popular style of learning snack, where the background photo zooms a little, very slowly. The Zoom Region tool is too fast. Can I use the Motion Path to accomplish this? I know I can determine speed.
You could copy the image resize and then paste it on a new layer with a fade effect. The more images the smoother the zoom in or out. However; for best results and to have more control, I would use a video editing app and then insert as a video to achieve a nice zoom effect

This is why we need the SL equivalent of PowrPoint's Morph transition!
Yes, that is a great effect in PowerPoint! I added my name to have that effect in SL too.
I use Final Cut Pro to add a Ken Burns style effect and export as a video, could do the same in iMovie of After effects.
