Building clickable images as a formative
Jul 06, 2022
Hey, heroes
Being new to Articulate, I'm imagining an image interaction in which users can choose between 2 side-by-side images based on some criteria. And the image they select by clicking it tabulates into a formative assessment on the following slide. I'm trying to avoid having one make a selection without seeing the image they're choosing since many times I view Storyline examples of only questions and no accompanying picture or associating content.
In other words, in a single slide one would choose between picture A or picture B. And after multiple scenes, a resulting formative would calculate their "correct" responses. See attachment for example.
Another way would be to create a click reveal answer after one makes a selection on the same slide as the pictures. Then next slide tabulates the score.
Thank you for anyone's expertise on designing this interaction.
Regards,
Jim

You could create Freeform question slides. Those provide a lot of the built-in quizzing functions, but give you more control over the design. Here's more info:

Thank you, Judy! I'll check it out.
