Change player setting once course is completed

I am developing a course in Storyline that will include branching by employee role. The player will be restricted. Once the course is completed for the specific role, the learner will be able to go back to the beginning of the branching and view the training for the other roles if desired. My challenge is that our LMS is set to allow users to relaunch completed courses and when they do, they launch from the beginning or to resume where the learner left off if the course is not completed. Is there a trigger or combination of triggers that will report the course as competed to the LMS once the specific role is viewed, but allow the course to be relaunched to free navigation or resumed state?

Does your course behave the same way when you use Always resume as your resume option? Based on your requirements, this resume option might be the most ideal because it will allow your course to retain its restricted navigation and allow your learners to revisit sections that they've already visited once the course is resumed.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to change the player settings after your course has been published. I’ll be happy to pass your thoughts on to our product team, but you can also feel free to detail them more through a feature request!
Thank you for bringing this setting to my attention. I will play with it and see if this fits my need.
