Change scroll panel scroller color

Aug 24, 2012

Hello Heroes,

Is there a way to change the scroll bar color? Not the background color of the box that you put objects in, but the actual scroll bar itself?

Hi guys

I see that this conversation was continued over here. You know, I've never actually tried to change the color of the scroll bars before. I really like this idea. Of course, I'm crazy and I'd probably make it pink or some other wild color - so maybe it's a good thing I haven't been able to do this!

I would really like to see this as an option. I know I'll be adding a feature request for this. If you haven't already, I'd encourage you to submit a feature request as well.

In the meantime, if someone finds a way to workaround this and add some color to the bar (maybe through some object tweeking), I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks!

Hi, Lizzie -- Thanks so much for reaching out here! We certainly value all input and ideas for features that customers would like to see, and this older blog post may shed a little bit more light on our Feature Request Process as a whole. Hope that helps, and as always, we appreciate your patience and understanding!  :)

thanks for stimulating me to work this out
- made scroll panel border color using theme of the sl
- inserted a text box to scroll
- inserted a narrow shape box inside the scroll panel the same height as
the text box

not exactly what i wanted, but does the trick as the scroll bar is more
salient
