I have a powerpoint presentation that has the content I need for my course but I want to use the templates from the content library in Storyline. Is there a way to do that without having to cut and paste all the text? I know how to import the powerpoint but I can't figure out how to convert them so they look like the templates.
Great question! You can use the Apply Layout feature to add layouts to your existing PowerPoint slides in Storyline 360.
Here are the steps:
Add a slide from whichever Content Library theme you're interested in using. This will add the templates to the Slide Master.
Go to one of the PowerPoint Slides in Storyline 360 and choose Apply Layout. Choose whichever layout pertains to the slide.
If you're looking to make these changes to multiple slides, then go to Story View. Select the slides while holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard. Lastly, select the layout from the Apply Layouts button.
