I am trying to convert an old course into a new template and so I am trying to save the new template as layouts or as Slide Master. But when I go to Slide Master view and click Insert Slide Master or Insert Layout, my new template slides do not appear there. I have saved the new template as .storytemplate and I have imported it into the old course. That means I have the extra new slides from the template in the old course but I cannot choose them as layout for the old design. Can you please help?

I'd like to share this article that explains how to import slides from other Storyline 360 projects. Have you tried importing your slides as described here as a workaround?
