It sounds like you had some questions about getting the Cover Photo set up in your Storyline 360 course. I'd be happy to help with that!

The cover image will only appear if your course has a media file on the very first slide, requiring an initial interaction from the learner before the course starts playing.

Working off of the .story file you provided, I added a media file to the first page and then published it to Review 360. As you can see, the cover image you chose of the butterfly is now displayed at the start of the course.

The cover photo is of butterfly while it is not getting reflected when I publish the course.

you will see the cover photo only if the browser autoplay of audio/video with audio blocks

example with firefox

there is no cover photo on resume (this is normal)

 So, basically cover page is shown when published. 

Hi Jürgen: I'm having the same problem with the cover slide not showing up in our Canvas site when the Rise modules are uploaded. I even uploaded your sample you created with the butterfly and the same thing occurred ... the cover slide was just ignored and the window went to black. Do you have any additional insights on what might be causing this issue? Thank you, Ray
