Just wondering if there is a way now (or will be...) in SL360 settings to have the build tool adjustable to a dark grey background and tool bars like in the MS Office suite and Adobe CC programs. I jump from those with a nice dark grey to Storyline 360 and it's bright white window is a bit of a jolt on the eyes...
Hi, I would appreciate a dark mode too. Storyline´s interface is too bright and in order to work on it for long periods I have to low the brightness to the monitor and this can be troublesome for realizing how is going to be the final product. We need it, please.
I agree - Dark mode would be super helpful. I've recently had eye surgery and while I'm cleared to go back to work, its easier for me to work in dark mode (less strain on my eyes). I can literally change all of my programs except Storyline, which unfortunately is the one I use the most.
I would love to see dark mode added to Articulate Storyline. I do a lot of development, and sometimes my eyes get so strained looking at bright white screens in Storyline that I feel dizzy and nauseated. Dark mode is an essential feature in any software.
For me this is not a preference, it actually hurts my eyes to stare at this program all day. It's become a necessity to turn all my programs to dark mode, and download dark mode for my browser. This is the only program I have to regularly use that requires I stare at large amounts of white.
It I would substantially improve my ability to work and change how much discomfort I am in each day if this feature were added. Please and thank you.
I'd like to add my name to this request to add a dark mode feature to Storyline, please. Both a full dark mode (black) and a dark grey mode.
Agreeing with the posters above that it can be hard on the eyes to look at a bright screen all day when designing courses, especially those of us with larger screens.
Please integrate dark mode ASAP.Our team recently switched over from the PowerPoint extension to Storyline, and having my eyes splashed daily with this vinegar color scheme is really starting to grate on me.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to see in the software.
I've submitted a feature request on your behalf.
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
Thanks Leslie
I was asking prior to submitting a request in case the feature was already available and I was just looking in the wrong place.
Cheers
Simon
IMVHO, as long as developers are given a choice--like Microsoft gives us four choices currently.
I know some developers that absolutely hate dark or black backgrounds despite the visual benefits. While I know others that feel the opposite.
Hi Gerry
I agree. Having multiple options is ideal so that the individual can make a choice based on their personal preference.
I really really really want/need a dark mode option for development. It helps so much with headaches.

Did this get implemented? I would love to be able to work in Storyline using a dark mode.
Any word on getting a dark mode for Storyline? The difference between Storyline and the rest of Windows when in dark mode is pretty jarring.
Storyline devs, please give us dark mode! SL360 now lags behind the other creative applications in this department.

Another GIANT VOTE for Dark mode. Please join the long list of Adobe CC, all major web browsers, Microsoft, TechSmith Camtasia and Snagit.
I just submitted a feature request. Perhaps the more requests, the more it will be given priority?
Bring the dark mode!!!
Bring on dark mode!!!! Bright white screens are a migraine trigger for me.
Ditto, Surender!!!!
Dark mode would be a huge quality of life improvement for me as well. Please implement!
Another vote here for dark mode! And surely it meets your criteria (from How we manage feature requests):
We consider the value this potential new feature would offer to our customers. We ask ourselves:
If we feel like the answer is “yes!”, we bring the request to our product development team.
