About the role
The Digital Learning Designer will play a major role within the Academy function in formulating learning content for customer and employees across the CitNOW Group. Developing a variety of industry leading, future thinking digital learning solutions spanning a range of media to design impactful and effective multi-media learning. As a Learning Designer you must have a sound understanding of instructional design which enables you to create blended learning content primarily for digital but also for virtual and face to face solutions. This will include being part of the overall design and creative concept, together with scripting and storyboarding of the digital learning components and enabling our levels of accessibility and functionality testing.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

●Ensuring a fresh, innovative and impactful learning experience for all of stakeholders which makes best use of the wider possibilities of digital delivery.

●Liaising with stakeholders regarding training and educational requirements for e-learning content development

●Conducting full training needs analysis prior to developing any e-learning content

●Storyboarding and scriptwriting in preparation for e-learning content development

●Supporting the creation of customer training solutions including presentations and training aids

●Creating high quality, engaging and interactive e-learning content

●Deploying learning content on digital platforms

●Updating e-learning content in an agile way depending on customer / stakeholder needs

●Marketing the content development offering to future customers / stakeholders

●Keeping up to date with new innovations in TEL (Technology-enhanced learning)

●Administration of our learning content on digital platforms

●Monthly reporting and uploading of data

●Creating dynamic rules to automation of processes

●Provide support to learners with any e-learning queries

●Act as a single point of contact with the business for all matters digital learning

●Develop e-learning courses and content to meet business needs.

●Deliver end to end projects, with guidance from Head of Academy

●Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships with existing clients 

●Responding to queries relating to training content requirements and occasional queries relating to access to e-learning content

Knowledge & Skills Required:

●Experience of working in a Learning and Development environment, or transferrable skills from a similar role.

●A demonstrable experience of e-learning content development 

●Proven experience of working with content authoring tools (Articulate storyline, Rise)

●Excellent instructional designer with keen attention to detail and clarity of expression

●Ability to cut-through complex processes and create solid educational messages

●Demonstrable Project / Program Management skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

●Technical proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel PowerPoint, HTML 5 content and google suite of products
