I just created a drag and drop free-form quiz slide. The learner is given 2 attempts to get it correct.
When I try an incorrect answer, the drag items don't reset to their original positions. what should the settings and triggers on each layer be to get this to work?
I tried having the triggers on the incorrect and try again layers jump back to that slide to reload the slide and that doesn't work.
For all the "jump to this slide" methods I've seen, they never mention that once you jump to a slide that is set to return to initial state, it resets the number of tries, so you never get to incorrect and continue option.
I know SL 360 and SL 3 are very similar, and assumed this would work in SL 3. Is this one of the areas where they differ? What part cannot be accomplished in your file?
It turned out in courses made prior to my starting with this company, none of the drag and drop quiz slides reset the draggable objects to the original positions when answered incorrectly. The settings allowed to attempts to answer the drag and drop questions correctly.

This method of applying motion paths and drop states (correct/incorrect) seems to be a reasonable workaround.
How to Reset Drag-and-Drop Incorrect Choices w/ Motion Paths in Articulate Storyline 360

Thank you, Scott.
I recently started a new job and the manager will not upgrade to Articulate 360. This drag and drop slide was created with Storyline 3.
Any suggestions?
