It would be helpful to have a feature where you can add time anywhere in the timeline and it will push anything after that point forward whilst keeping the positions, endings, and markers in tact relative to each other. This is common in most timeline based apps like video editing apps, music DAWs, animation, etc.
I'm thinking it would go like this: place playhead where you want to add time, right-click and you'll see a new menu item titled "Add time to timeline". You select it and enter a number such as 4.25" .
