I'm looking for some help as to why the submit button will not work on my free form pick many quiz question. I've rebuilt this from scratch twice based on previous posts. In addition to testing in preview, I've also published to Review to see if maybe it would work in that environment but it does not. I'm attaching the SL file for review. Any help you would be great. You have the feedback turned off for this question. Change the feedback to by question. Then Storyline will create two layers.
Add a trigger to show the Review layer when the timeline starts on both the Correct layer and Incorrect layer. Or use the built-in functions of the Correct and Incorrect layer.
It appears that you have removed the default correct and incorrect feedback layers in this interaction. When you submit the interaction SL has nothing to show to verify if your answer was correct or incorrect. I understand that you want to show the customized Review layer instead. All you need to do is to connect it to your interaction. Create another trigger to say "Show layer Review when the user clicks submit " .
Thank you. Would that still be the case if I'm using a results slide with a review button option? This is a final quiz (question pulled from a question bank). At the end of the quiz the results slide lets them know their score and then allows them review the answers. That's when they will see the review layer.
I think that I figured it out. I guess I needed to have the question bank pulled into scene with the results slide in order for it work. Seems to be working now. Thanks for the responses.
I did not know you wanted to include a result slide. With a result slide followed by question, you would go straight to the result slide as soon as you submit interaction. Your customized review layer will not show at this time. On a result slide, the SL Review button will be available for you to review the answer, and yes, that's when they will see your customized review layer. If your question bank have more then one question, immediate response/feedback would not be triggered but will show one by one after you click the Review button on the Result slide.
