I am trying to delete a selection after it has been selected in a Pick One quiz interaction. I was thinking maybe I could do that using a slide layer but when I make a new slide layer, I am not able to edit the slide. Anybody have any ideas. Please help!

I'm not sure I fully understand the question. Are you trying to delete the object on the base layer from another layer?
You can hide\show objects by clicking the arrow next to the Base layer on the timeline:
Or do you want to remove the selection so the user can try again?
If you can share the .story file, I'm happy to take a look and offer a suggestion.
