My slide is 2000 pixels wide x 840 pixels high. The max. size of the standard radio buttons is very small relative to the screen size. The quiz will be displayed on a 7" screen so the radio buttons will be very hard for the user to select. Does anyone know how to customise the size of these buttons whilst retaining their functionality?
Draw a circle, give it whatever formatting you like, and the states and triggers you need. Make them a button set, and the user will never know they aren't real buttons.
They will be better than real buttons, because you usually can make one and copy and paste it. Sometimes copying radio buttons and pasting them can cause the system to crash.
Hi Walt, thanks for this...one crucial question, how do I parse my custom buttons to submit multiple responses. I made my button as sets but they don't seem to be tied to the questions on the right.....as seen on the screenshot.
You have to create triggers to pass that information on to the interaction. What I prefer for this purpose is to start with a pick one interaction. The purpose of making them a set is so that only one can be selected. If you want to submit multiple responses, they cannot be a set.
I've included some options in the attached sample that you may not need. I have my own preference for unanswered questions and submit button. They are found in slide 1. If you don't want them, use slide 2.
Don't change the order of any of the triggers, or they won't work right.

Hi Angela,
You can use the "format" tab to change the radio button or checkbox styling, but there isn't a way to enlarge it overall.

Always with the good idea Walt!
Thanks so much, Walt. I'll give that a go. Do you know, would the new custom button retain question scoring and feedback features?
Thanks again!
Radio buttons don't have scoring and feedback features. All that is handled by how you set up the quiz in Form View. So the short answer is yes.
Remember if you need them to act as true radio buttons, you need to make them a button set, but you can do that with almost anything.
That's really helpful. Thanks so much, Walt.
