This afternoon most of the images and graphics (speech bubbles etc.) that are animated have disappeared from the working main page, but when I preview them. All the images are there. But I cannot see them so I cannot work with them.... very frustrating!!!
Did I push a setting that hide all animated images, shape, text etc.

Are you working from your local drive? Working from a network drive can cause erratic behavior.
It appears that the Incorrect layer is selected in the first screenshot you shared. Is this issue only happening on this specific layer?

After reviewing your screenshots, it appears that the Timeline Visualization option is selected. Once you unselect this setting, you should be all set.
I tested this out on slide 3.7 and included the updated file here. Please let me know if you need additional assistance with this!
