Is it possible for a learner to upload screenshots and other documents to be assessed?

Hi. I wonder if anyone can help me with a project I am working on. I've built a course in Storyline which, for the most part, is pretty standard. There are several units of learning, and for each one, the learner watches a short instructional video. They're then given a scenario, and go to a separate browser window where they access a virtual machine in order to carry out the task they have just watched/learned. They are then required to take a screenshot of their work, and upload it somewhere for an assessor to look at in due course. At the moment, the course features a link which takes the learner to Microsoft Forms, and the learner uploads the screenshot there. I am wondering if there is a better alternative - i.e. can the learner upload the screenshot whilst within the course, and it be somehow "stored" for an assessor to look at later? If anyone has faced this challenge before I'd really appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks

  • Not in an easy way, storing it inside the course will mean it is not accessible to be assessed. You could probably save to a database using a web object or could add your Microsoft form in as a web object or iframe

Hello Phil - thanks very much for your response. Do you know where I could find information and/or instructions on how to incorporate a web object to save to a database, as you suggested? I would like to explore this option but am not sure how to go about it. Thanks again.
