Is there a player setting so that a page doesn't count as viewed until the time line reaches the end?

In the player settings when you choose restricted navigation, you can choose to restrict the next and previous buttons. The Next button will automatically enable once the timeline/seekbar reaches the end of the slide.

Is there a way to set it up so that a page isn't considered as viewed (the checkmark doesn't activate on a slide in the menu) until the seekbar reaches the end?

I use a lot of button navigation and use scenes as chapters in the menu, and I think I found a way to cheat most of the course by going back to the navigation slide I have.

I typically use the completion option of 100% of slides being viewed in order to mark complete. Since I can view a slide and it's marking complete, and then click to go back via the menu, I've found ways to advance without viewing all of the content.

Hello David,

Thanks for bring this behavior to our attention. The restricted navigation setting should prevent learners from jumping ahead in the course. If there aren't any triggers in your course that let's learners skip through sections and they are still able to do so, there's a possibility that the restricted navigation isn't working properly for you.

Would you be willing to create a Peek 360 recording of the exploit that you found so we can try and replicate it as a possible bug on our end?

Looking forward to your response!

As far as I know, a slide is considered as viewed as soon as you jump on it. It does not matter if the timeline reached the end of the slide or not, or if there are more layers with additional content to view on the same slide. It's the default behavior. "The Next button will automatically enable once the timeline/seekbar reaches the end of the slide." Yes, by default, unless you have a trigger to change its state to Normal by any action that will execute before or after the timeline reaches the end of the slide. For instance, a slide with more buttons where each button shows additional layer. You would have to create a trigger "Change state of the next button to Normal if the state of all buttons (which show additional layers) are visited" to make sure that all slide content is viewed before you allow the learner to proceed to the next slide. So far, I found no way to jump ahead through the menu as long as the slide tab appears locked.
