I see no way to sync the timeline to a video in my SL course. Maybe I'm missing it? Because it would be oh so helpful if there were a feature "Sync Timeline To Video" so that if someone paused the video or dragged the seekbar back to listen to something again, the timeline would sync with those instances. So the things you have popping up at different points in the timeline to support/provide clarification to the video would all just work perfectly.
I hope someone can say "Matt- there's a trigger for that!!! Articulate has fixed that very commonly complained about lack of functionality and here's how you do it." Because that would be welcomed.

Matt, there’s no trigger for that, but at least you admit that’s what you want. Most people won’t.
It isn’t that hard to do.
Set video to start when the timeline on the slide starts. If necessary, start new copy of slide. Show slide seekbar. Don’t show video controls.
When the timeline of the slide pauses or changes, so will the video. Without its own timeline, the video uses the slide timeline.
