Joining an Articulate Storyline group in Mpls-St Paul

Jul 27, 2015

Hi all: I wanted to make a last call to anyone in the Twin Cities who may want to join us in an Articulate Group.  We'll be meeting soon and we wanted to make sure we don't miss anyone.  Let me know if you want to join us

Thanx

Hi, Richard!  I saw your information and you have been added to the group.  THANKS for the interest.

I'll forward you the e-mail that went out after the first user group meeting.  It has the links to the presentations.

Our next meeting will February 22 at St. Thomas College in St. Paul.  Information on the meeting will be going out tomorrow to all our registered user group members.

The meeting will be a joint meeting of the Twin Cities Articulate User Group, the local ATD Training SIG, and the local Mobile Learning Forum.  The topic for the meeting will be "Articulate Storyline 'versus' Adobe Captivate."  Should be fun and educating.

With that topic, we expect the meeting might be very popular.  So, due to the room size, seating will be limited and registration will be required, so those interested are encouraged to register early when invitations go out tomorrow.

The invitation to our joint February meeting went out yesterday afternoon.  If you are a registered member of the Twin Cities Articulate User Group and for some reason did not get yesterday's invite, go here for the info.

We expect this meeting to be very popular but seating is limited.  Be sure to register early if you are interested.

The meeting will probably also not be virtual.  Since we have no budget or dues, we need someone to volunteer use of a virtual meeting tool.  At last count, our membership list  was over 140 people.

Hi!  Yes, we are active.  We got started last December.

So far we meet quarterly for 90 minutes-to-two hours on a topic of interest.

To join the group, please go here so we can get your e-mail address and contact you about future user group activities.

Our next meeting is April 13 featuring Tom Kuhlmann and Nicole Legault from Articulate.  Go here to specifically register for this event.  Can't wait myself.  Should be great.  :)

The following message went out this morning to our Twin Cities Articulate User Group members (for those in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area).

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

As you may have noticed, we have not had a user group meeting since our last session with Tom Kuhlmann and Nicole Legault of Articulate on April 13. That was because, in our experience, user group meetings are not usually well attended during the summer. So we've just been in "temporary hibernation" in service to summer vacations and holidays.

Our next meeting will be scheduled shortly and should be sometime after Labor Day in September. The topic will be a user discussion and demonstration on edutainment and animation effects in Articulate Storyline that enhance learning and help to engage learners. Among other things, we want to ask what things help and what things distract from effective learning.

We also have an exciting project that we want to announce, one that we will need everyone's help with.

We need your opinions: In the meantime, we're looking to add some type of web-based resource for our user group. To help with that, please take this three-question survey.

Thanks for the help and see you shortly.

If you are not a member of our Twin Cities Articulate User Group, please go here to register.  There are no costs associated with membership.
