Can't get audio to play when recording video in Articulate Storyline from webcam. Have checked Windows mixer. I get audio just fine when recording through Logitech Webcam software, but not when I try recording from webcam within Storyline. Is there a setting that I need to change? If so, where would I find it? Everything else seems to work fine (no problem with the video).
It sounds like you're trying to record some internal audio that is being transmitted by the webcam? I'm a bit confused about the step up here, but there was a similar discussion (recording in Replay) and it seems that most users found success by changing the settings within Windows - did you follow similar steps?

I'm using Articulate 30 day trial. I also cannot get any sound to record. I'd like to add voice overs, however I can't seem to get any sound recordings to take at all. I've looked at tried all of the suggestions mentioned above. My headset, webcam, and microphones have all been enabled. I have no issues when using my microphone for a web chat or conference so I don't think there is anything wrong with my hardware. I need some good suggestions for how to get sound to record within Articulate Storyline 2.
Did you go through the steps here to ensure that you're able to record audio? If that's still not working - it sounds like this is something you have had happening since you downloaded the trial and I'd wonder if something occurred during the install - so did you look at conducting the repair? If that's still causing difficulty, please reach out to our Support team here so that they can provide some more troubleshooting assistance!
On the Record Webcam popup, select show device settings. On that , select the Audio device. Mine was none by default. Audio recorded in webcam once i selected it.
