On Slide Video Controls Not Functioning in Preview

Greetings everyone!

I'm having a strange issue when previewing a scene/slide or project. 

I have a single slide that contains a video. I'm using the "show Video Controls Below Video" option.

When I preview, the slide loads, and the play/pause button seem to toggle when hovered over, but when clicked, the video will not play.

I published to Review 360, and the player control works as expected. 

I've removed and re inserted the vid. I've deleted the slide and created a new instance of it... nothing seems to help.

Ideas?

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues when previewing your project. Let me ask you some questions to try to narrow down the problem:

    • Are you working from a local hard drive? Working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. 
    • Is this happening with a specific video file or any file you insert into Storyline?
    • Have you attempted a repair of Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.

    If the repair doesn't solve your issue, or if it's happening with a specific video file, I'd recommend opening a support case with our engineers.

    I'm working from a local drive with local assets.

    I'll give the repair a shot.
