PPT to Storyline Input Error

Hello! I am new to Storyline and am having issues importing a PP presentation into articulate storyline. I repeatedly get the error message that the file could not be imported. I've been troubleshooting for the last hour and can't quite figure it out. I have a Mac and am running storyline on parallels through my computer's local hard drive. I am using the articulate trial so I believe I have the newest version of storyline. I downloaded the Microsoft Office App suite onto the desktop and am trying to pull the file from there. The file was given to me by my employer so it could be an older version of ppt, but I'm unsure.
