Publishing to Video - 4-5 minute course took one hour to publish

Dec 08, 2020

I just published a 4-5 minute course to video and it took one hour. Is this normal and acceptable behavior?

Hi there, Thomas!

Thanks for reaching out, and great question.

Publishing videos, especially high-quality videos, can take some time. The maximum duration for a published video is two hours, and the published frame rate is 30 fps.

There are numerous factors involved in the process, including how much audio and video needs to be encoded and mixed.

For example, a large project that consists of just shapes and animations without much audio or video could publish quickly. In contrast, a short course with lots of audio or video clips could take a long time.

If you're comfortable with sharing the course, we're happy to explore further!
