Question banks and white space when published
Jul 22, 2016
Hi all,
How do I eliminate the white space gap that appears on the first slide of the attached Storyline 2 file (also see related screenshots) only after I publish? When I do the followings the problem goes away: 1- remove the question bank 2- add tabs to the player. But that's not what I want. I'd like to have a question bank with no tabs on the player. I wonder if this is a known issue or a bug!
Does anyone have a workaround to this issue?
Thanks,
Maneli

Hi Maneli!
Because of your quiz slides and the submit button, the player spacing is still accommodating for them overall. The sizing that the player will add to your course is described here.
I know this thread is 6 years old, but now I'm running into the same problem, and it's not related to having a submit button on the bottom of the player. The problem is that Storyline 3 is adding an extra blank row ABOVE the content and below the title bar (where the player tabs would typically be) when you add a question bank to the project. So I have 4 lessons that are all related, and 3 of them publish looking the same but the one with the question bank pushes the content down so that it overlaps the seekbar at the bottom. Can anyone help me find a workaround to fix this problem?
Hi, Russell.
Thank you for sharing the screenshots!
I'm happy to help, but I wasn't able to reproduce this issue when testing with a question bank in Storyline 3. Can you share your .story file either publicly here or privately through a support case so we can investigate what's happening?
