I've created quizzes using a Slide Draw, but when navigating through the course, the menu doesn't highlight the Quiz when I advance to it, as shown in the screen shot. I've searched the forum and can't find any advice to fix this. Please help!
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know! I am sorry that you are running into this snag. This sounds similar to an open issue our team is investigating around Question Banks. I will be sure to add your notes to our report.
In the meantime, a workaround that may help is to change the settings for the question bank. Since this mainly affects draws from question bank slides, if you expose the questions in the menu that would allow them to appear and be highlighted:
We will be sure to provide updates on this as soon as we have more details to share!
Has there been a found fix for this? I am running into the same issue and am not using the question bank function. I created each question independently and inserted the title of the quiz from naming it "Quiz" in the story. Thanks!
I'm happy to help! It sounds like the question slides aren't highlighted in the Menu. Is that correct? I'd like to take a look at the project to determine the fix! Would you mind uploading it using this secure upload link?
Thanks, Jim for clarifying. Currently, the player will only highlight the questions themselves in the menu when you choose to show the Slide Draw contents. We'll keep you posted here if that changes!
Ok. But that makes zero sense to a learner who can't understand why they're in the middle of the quiz but their menu still indicates that they're on the page before the quiz. This should change.
Has anyone come up with a good workaround for this issue? I’m running into the same issue with the menu not advancing to the quiz when using a slide draw from a question bank, and I do not want to show a’ menu item for each question.
Of course, this way is ridiculous, and the Articulate team cannot be forgiven for ignoring such bugs in their software.
We can create an empty slide of 1 second, with an event when the timeline starts going to the next slide. This transition slide will be named like the quiz. The question bank slide will be hidden from the navigation. When you access the transition slide, it will be selected from the menu.
This solution is not ideal, because the transition slide will be displayed as "completed" when the quiz is not complete, which is confusing for users.

Is this still not fixed? It's been almost 2 years. It seems like a pretty important issue to correctly highlight where the user is within the course.
Hello Jim!
Have you tried selecting Show Slide Draw Contents via Player > Menu > Question Bank Toggle?
No. I don't want to show each question. I just want the quiz to be highlighted in the menu when they are in the quiz.

Agree with Jim here. The current functionality is not user-friendly at all.

I just found a workaround for the issue.
