Record button showing in screen recording.

I have been having quite a lot of problems with the settings for my screen recordings.  When I record my screen, the record bar is showing in the final recording as shown below: 

Any ideas why this is happening?  I have recorded a ton of videos previously and not had this issue.

I have been screen recording in Articulate and editing in Camtasia.  If I screen record in Camtasia, the ratio aspect seems to be off despite following the same procedure.  Any ideas?
