Red Border around screen
Hi E-Learningites! I had a quick question:
I'm recording a screen with Storyline and I get this red border around the screen. I'm sure it's for parameters, but I can't seem to find any information about it, or how to get rid of it. I also seem to lose the control buttons to stop the recording.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
Matt

Hi Matt!
Looks like Mr. C has popped in to assist you here. I'm not familiar with an issue based on your description. Do you have a .story file you'd like us to take a look at?

Hello Ayanne - Would you be able to share your .story file and replication steps if necessary?

The exact same thing is happening to me! 3 years later!! Did someone help resolve? If so, please help me!
Hi Jessica,
I took a look and did not get a file from Ayanne to do any testing, so I do not have an update outside of what you can see here.
I do see that you also reached out here as well, so we can continue the conversation there.

I realize that this is an old post - but I am experiencing this same issue - I am using the "Screen Recording" tool and after it is placed in a Storyline slide, I am seeing a red border. I am happy to share a sample of the file.

Thanks for reaching out, Anna!
Are you using multiple displays or single? Can you confirm that the display(s) is set to 100% — Here's how:
- Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
- Click the Display tab in the upper left corner of the window that appears.
- Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the drop-down list.
If this doesn't do the trick, we'll need our Support Engineers to step in. Just connect with our Support Engineers in a support case!
