Renamed variables are making me furious

Just a rant here... I have a course that includes a quiz of 20 questions. I also include the quiz questions in a recertification test that has already 160 questions. I spent probably one week to get the questions right in the course. Quite a few of them have quite a few variables, and some of those variables were reused on different slides. I got it working the way I like and then imported the questions into the recertification test and nothing is working. All the variables were renamed. Now I am furious about this because it seems that I will have to delete the questions and import them one-by-one into the recertification test to see which variable names were changed to what, and if I can fix them. Worst case I have to recreate them, and that will make me more furious still...

Hi Veronica, thanks for responding to my rant.
I spent half a day working on it and managed to get it working like it should. I found the easiest way was to import the slides in a separate scene, and then import (moving rather than copying) the question one-by-one into the quiz bank, renaming the variables after every time the question is imported. If one imports all of the questions at once it becomes an unmanageable mess.
