Replay isn't replaying audio

I have a slide with buttons that activate different layers. Buttons are triggered to show that they've been selected when the user revisits slide (slide is set to Resume saved state). I also set up the slide to play from to the beginning upon returning. First visit plays through fine, even though Replay doesn't work until end of slide - that's issue 1. When I jump to a different slide and return, the slide plays from the beginning but, even though clicking Replay jumps to the start of slide, the audio (which starts at .5 of timeline) does not play - issue 2.
