RESET not replaying audio on return to layers

Hi, my slide and layers have audio and images. When I use my Back button to return to a previous layer, I have encountered two problems:
1. The graphics show as per the previous layer but the audio does not replay even though I have reset the slide and all my layers.
The only way I could get it to replay the audio was by selecting "Hide layers" and Reset.
2. My Cue No variable is set to 0 at the start of each layer, yet when I returned to the layer (using my Back button), it seems that my Cue number was was reset back to 0 and somehow the Cue number from the layer I was returning from carried to the layer I was returning to which impacted on another variable I use as a Progress %.
Can someone tell me the logic behind the RESET option if it does not actually reset the layer variables and timeline?
This cost me a lot of time and experimentation to find out how to replay my audio.
If I can understand the logic then I can work around it to achieve my needs.

We are happy to help! It sounds like you're looking for the entire slide to reset when revisiting. The audio should replay if you have the When Revisiting setting set to Reset to Initial State.
Before suggesting a workaround, it would be helpful to see what you've created so far. With your permission, I'd like to look at the .story file. You can attach it to this discussion or upload it in a support case. I'll make sure to delete it after troubleshooting!
