SCORM vs xAPI
Feb 27, 2018
Hello, all. We are moving from an LMS that does not support xAPI to Docebo, which does. We have always published in SCORM since xAPI wasn't even an option. I am now trying to determine if it would be better to publish to xAPI but I'm having a hard time finding much information comparing the two. Can anyone share any advice? Thank you!

Hey, April. Check out this guide for deciding to publish for Tin Can API.
I'll let other community members talk about their experience with using Tin Can and how it benefits them!
Hi there! We are considering adding xAPI to our LMS and are looking for some insights from others who have added the tool to their eLearning repertoire. If you have anything to share from your experience, we'd love to hear about it!
Hi April,
Wondering what you decided to do? We are using docebo as well and I'm thinking I should use xAPI
Thanks,
Sarah
Hi, Sarah.

Thanks Maria. I'll try that.
Hello all!
We're in the same boat. We currently save our RISE files to SCORM 1.2 -- and we use Docebo.
But regardless of LMS, which is the better option to use? I see we can save RISE files as scorm 1,2, scorm 2004, AICC< xAPI, and cmi5.
