Screen Recording Not Rendering Properly

Hey Folks!

I am currently building a short demo and practice exercise for an application. I recorded the video as usual and set it to render as a Step-by-Step View and Try scene. Unfortunately with both, I only get a screenshot displaying. I thought that I might need to take the update to fix it. I updated and rebooted, but the same issue occurs.

Hi Dennis,

I'm sorry to hear that you were having an issue with Storyline's screen recording. 

The issue may relate to the security permission between Storyline and the application you are trying to record. The application may be running with elevated permission while Storyline is not, or vice versa.

Can you please try running Storyline as administrator (right-click> run as administrator) before doing your recording and see if it helps?

If that doesn't help, I recommend you to work directly with our support team so we can further investigate the issue. Thanks!
