Is there no way to adjust the font size on answer options for a sequence drag and drop question? It seems each bubble is set to a static size that doesn't adjust for the amount of text in it -- only the text adjusts, and automatically (as if the object is set to "resize shape to fit text" and there's no way to change it). This leaves various font sizes on the screen and it looks awful.
You can adjust the size of the answer choices, but this would change for all of them. Currently, if you enter a lot of text into an answer it will automatically adjust, as you are seeing it. You might want to take a look at this thread for more information on the topic.
There isn't a way to make the font size larger on the system-generated numbers. My teammate, Alyssa, has a workaround that would provide more control over the look of the quiz layout.
I found a way to increase the small text size on the Sequence Drag & Drop question.
When you click on the text box you would like to edit, navigate to the "Font" tab when you are in the "Home" section settings. Next to the dropdown where you can change your font there is a "Text Style" option. Choose one of the headings and it will most definitely increase the text size.

I think it would be better to create a custom style with a large size for this situation.
Heading styles are treated in a special way by screen readers. So for accessibility, those styles should only be applied to text that should be read as a heading.
This was such a helpful workaround! Thank you for that. However, I'm now having trouble because the text is bigger and won't fit the box. I'm unable to change the size of the text box (even after going to the format shape--> text box). Any other ideas?

Christine, is there a way to make the font size of the system-generated numbers larger? (to match the font size of the questions)

I agree completely with you.
Creating a custom style would be the best solution for these types of questions.
