Swipe Restriction Does Not Work on Safari

Mar 08, 2021

Hello,

I created a course and disabled the swipe feature for each slide. When testing in Intralearn LMS, I am still able to swipe through all slides using Safari enabled devices (ipad, iphone, etc.) This issue does not happen on Windows systems.

How can I keep the user from swiping right through every slide?

Thank you!

Hi Sophia!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see that we've logged this as a software bug where the swipe navigation works on mobile devices even if the trigger to swipe next is removed. I'm sorry this bug is affecting your courses! I've added your comment to our bug report to update you when we release a fix.

HI Lauren,

Is there a timeframe in which you expect this to be corrected? This is a huge issue when it comes to our compliance courses due to the fact that our employees get paid for the time spent taking the course. Timing cannot be appropriately tracked if users can swipe through all slides with no restrictions.

Thanks!
